The past two weeks have been pure bliss. Breanne is the sweetest baby girl and we are loving every precious moment of these sweet newborn days. I cannot even express in words how truly blessed I feel. I never knew that my heart could hold so much love. Our five children are the greatest gifts that God could ever give. The other children have welcomed Breanne with open arms and just can't seem to get enough her. They all want to hold and kiss her. I wish that I could bottle up this period of time in our lives and hold onto it forever.
I am thoroughly enjoying my maternity leave. I love being a full time mommy. I appreciate all the kind e-mails from family, friends and clients. A big thank you to my clients for their patience right now. I have been trying to stay away from my computer and have been slow to respond to e-mail and voicemail. I have been getting many inquiries as to when I will be shooting portrait sessions again. A decision has yet to be made as to when I will begin booking. During the month of March, I have three weddings to shoot and being away from my baby girl is going to be tough but it will be a good way for me to ease back into work. So I am tenatively planning on resuming sessions in April or May. As always, my availability will be limited because I schedule around my husband's work schedule. I work when he is off so that he is home with the children.

And as for you - how on earth are you that skinny again? You've had FIVE kids. I think you need to write a book!

Beautiful baby~Beautiful mommy! I know exactly what you mean about stopping time. I miss all those sweet baby and little people days! I can't believe my Morgan is a senior this year and Sawyer is in third grade. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was playing with "my girls" in acteens? I definitely feel the sand in the hourglass of time slipping from beneath my feet. I focus on the time I have now and I do love it! How blessed we truly are!
